Highly uncalled for! If he were the one who molested the boys then I'd agree. The incident was reported to him, what exactly was said to him depends on who you ask. He reported the incident to administrators. How much of an investigation was done we don't know. They, the administrators, should have called the police about the incident. Do you hold such anger towards all the boys who were abused and never came forward as adults? There have been cases of men accused of child molestation but were innocent. Neither you nor I know what Joe was told back then. All we do know is that he reported to administrators. Hold your "hot in hell" comments about Joe until all the facts come out in the trial and internal investigation.

I totally agree with you. It's very easy to pass judgement without knowing all the facts. Paterno was not charged with any wrongdoing in the abuse investigation and many believe his firing was a kneejerk reaction by Penn State over the furor of the allegations.

I feel sad for both him and his family.

facts? Trial? HA! Court houses and the entire court system are a ENORMOUS lie amongst themselves. I hardly ever rely on those places to give me any truths or facts.

Courts = houses of unjust.

Look...enuff of this "legal" speak!! READ THE REPORT!! Paterno was the most powerful man on that campus!!! HE HAD KNOWLEDGE OF THIS AND DID NOTHING....HE DID NOT FOLLOW UP!! HE LET IT GO, BECAUSE FOOTBALL WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO HIM!! He did only the bare minimum. The minute he saw that Sanduski was not in custody or some inquisiton, he should have brought the heat!! BUT HE DID NOT!!

Sure...he didn't rob the bank! But he drove the get away car!! HE MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR THE DUSKI TO KEEP SCREWIN' LITTLE BOYS!! And how many little boys suffered???? I am sick of the idol worship that gets us all crazy in protecting our so-called heroes!!

Well I hope he made it right with God before he died. Because he sho' didn't do right by all those boys!!

I don't think we all know the whole story..The real wrongdoer is Sanduski...as with most abuse, it goes untold, unreported due to the shame, fear and so on that comes with it...when Joe was told, maybe he should have done more, maybe he took the easy road by letting others handle it but what would we have done? Who knows what he was told by Pennstate? Maybe he really believed they'd do the right thing...we weren't there...

Joe Paterno Admits He Did Not Know How to Handle Sex Allegation - ABC News
The report states two versions of what the graduate reported to Paterno and administration. One version was (the graduate's) was so explicit that he should have stopped the action on the spot. The other version was that he saw what he thought was inappropriate touching.

Paterno died from guilt. He didn't do the right thing. He was all powerful on that campus.

Sanduski sinned by commission. Paterno sinned omision. Both are clearly in the wrong.
