Jermaine Jackson had a torrid affair with Whitney Houston and carried a torch for her until the day she died, according to a report published yesterday.
The attraction had been instant between the pair after the married Jermaine was brought in to produce Houston and perform duets with her in the early 1980s, and they soon began a secret, yearlong fling, The Sun newspaper in London said.

Even if "freedom of speech" was applicable (it's not), I wouldn't delete this thread because this isn't a forum that I moderate.
That said, I have the right to express my opinion on the topic, and my opinion is that it's a sad, trashy story with absolutely no redeeming value. It's certainly not "news."

Tell this to news networks which I would love to hear from them about this subject. News sells and try turning off the news and see what happens. Very few people don't watch TV or read the newspaper. People would be up in arms with out the news.
So you changed your OP to reflect a link to the NY Post, insetad of the original link to a London Sun story. (The Sun is considered a daily "tabloid," not a newspaper, BTW.)
And the NY Post?
I've lived in New York City. I've read the Post. I don't know anyone who considers the Post anything more than a sleezy rag that prints stories of questionable taste and veracity.
Whether or not THIS story is true, and it may well be, it's still trash -- and again, I wish that people would just let Ms. Houston rest in peace.
But, yes, you certainly have the right to post it here. Just as I have the right to point out how low-class the story is.
As I said upthread, when an actual news network posts a story here (not you posting a link to a story), I'll be more than happy to tell them it's not news.
