Really sad and quite unexpected because I thought his kid was living a relatively normal life.

You are absolutely right. It doesn't matter how he died, it's that he died.
Sage Stallone was dead in his room for a minimum of 3-4 days and possibly as long as a week ... this according to law enforcement sources connected with the case.
Our sources tell TMZ ... Sage "lived like Howard Hughes" ... he often spent days in his room which was "littered with junk," including an enormous number of cigarette butts, beer and soda cans, and food.

his attorney says Sage didn't drink alcohol and the bottles they found there are creme soda bottles. Those do look like beer bottles. But officials should set the record straight before starting untruths in the media.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Sylvester Stallone's son Sage died at age 36 from natural causes due to a heart condition, coroner's officials said Thursday.
Sage Stallone's death on July 13 was attributed to a condition that causes blockage of the arteries, and no other factors were involved. It has been classified a natural death.
