I've just come to realize that he annoys me. His delivery is obnoxious. He sounds like the stereotypical rude parking attendant in a Northeastern CBD. Is his accent Northeast or New Orleans? Isn't it a little thick? What is his ethnic background?
If I can only stand 2 minutes, max, how do people endure an entire show? Do you like watching/listening to him, or is it a little over the top?
But I dig him!! He was the first to make guys feel that cooking was a cool and masculine thing to do.
True about the cool and masculine thing. I wonder how much of it is overkill, though, the same way that Joan Rivers keeps her delivery revved up. Richard Simmons he is NOT, that's for sure. Still, I can't handle listening to him for too long, the same way Joy Behar gets on my nerves in no time.
The kitchen? Where's that? I've just seen him while channel surfing.
Haha, the kitchen is my favorite place to be with a glass of wine and music blaring while I cook
