all i can say is was glad to know he is FILIPINO. read an article from philippines sources that when he had his concert in my country he said "i am filipino".

His mother is Filipina and his father is Puerto Rican.
I don't think he's a great live singer, but he has gotten better in the last year. But he's one hell of a performer! I love how he gets his musicians into the act. He's also got some creative videos and fun, catchy songs. I think he's quite talented, though, not necessarily the strongest singer. I was very impressed with him hosting SNL. He did some really great singing/singer impressions.

I agree, tho I think he is just a perfect package that an artist needs to have.
This just gives me chills, he was about to break down any moment and he still did a fantastic job.
