Oscar award for 2014 is in 2 days. For me Jennifer Lawrence has been the best actress in the last year so I hope she wins something.

Have not seen all of the films that are up for awards, but I did see Blue Jasmine and Cate Blanchett gave an absolutely riveting performance. I love Amy Adams, but I'm not sure she can beat Blanchett.

I can never seem to settle on just one favorite.
  • Best Actor: Christian Bale or Chiwetel Ejiofor
  • Best Actress: Cate Blanchett or Meryl Streep
  • Best Supporting Actor: Jared Leto or Jonah Hill (even though I hated that movie) Though honestly, I would LOVE to see Hollyweird shaken up and have Barkhad Abdi take it (won't happen though)
  • Best Supporting Actress: Lupita Nyong'o ... the only category where I have a clear favorite.
