My wife has said a couple of times that if anything ever happens to her she just figures I'll only date black, or other minority women.
Other than Condoleeza Rice, I see a lot of beauty in every woman mentioned by the other posters. I thinks politics tends to make someone "hard" looking. But Michelle Obama is a babe-o-rama.

Speaking of the Fresh Prince, I forgot all about Tatyana Ali. She's very pretty. Rozonda (Chilli) Thomas and Keisha Knight Pulliam are very pretty ladies as well.
I'm sorry but not every black woman is beautiful just as not all white women are beautiful. If you are going strictly by looks alone, there are lots of people listed that don't belong here.

Those are beautiful black women. The others are pretty or some just mildly attractive but the question was about beautiful black women. And yes, I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but to list every black actress that comes to mind because they are black is crazy. Thelma from "Good Times"?????? Where did that come from? Has she done anything since the 70's? Tina Turner has some gorgeous legs that I totally covet but her face is not very attractive. Another pretty black actress is Kerry Washington, but I wouldn't call her beautiful. Just my 2 cents.

Well I personally don't find Halle Berry or Tyra all that beautiful, but then again, I tend not to follow societal standards of beauty. I assumed that this thread was to express our opinions who are the most beautiful black American women. Obviously the answers will differ.
