For the record, I AM NOT a Kanye fan. I'd be thrilled if I never heard his name again. But in fairness, it doesn't sound like HE had anything to do with this.

Not necessarily. They can attempt to publish anything they want. Whether or not he could sue them for some sort of trademark infringement is another matter completely. Just because they have published this doesn't necessarily mean that he has approved it or has any part of it.
