Yes, actually before I looked at the list, the first two people who popped into my head were Aaliyah and Jonathan Brandis.

Brian of the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin drummer, Keith Moon - under 30 weren't they?

I'm thinking of a singer/guitarist in Pantera who died young, but I can't remember the name.
