I recall that my sisters were crazy for Mike (or Steve, on the show). It was a great show, and he helped make it so. RIP Mike.

We all wanted to be Betty Jo Bradley and marry Steve Elliott. We were still in elementary school, but hey...he was HOT.

By the way, Linda Henning (Betty Jo) and Mike Minor fell in love for real and married in 1968...one year after Betty Jo and Steve married on the show (although the marriage ended in divorce 5 years later).

RIP, Mike.

Yes, I remember him. He was good-looking back then.


I still have a hard time believing that there was a mid-sixties TV series (two, in fact) set in a town called Hooterville.
