We've been watching the entire series on Netflix on and off for quite a while now. We have ONE episode left to watch, which we've been putting off because we don't want it to end. Now this.
They did have great chemistry; there was great chemistry all over that show.

Thinking back, it sure seems he never really made much money. thats one of the the things that made the character so popular. He didn't have a flashy car or expensive house, he had to use his smarts and quick wit to solve crimes and get out of sticky situations.

Must have been the time period because it seems all PIs and LE shows have main characters that seem to consider themselves "Big Daddy". *LOL*
MeTV runs The Rockford Files, Kojak, and McCloud back to back in our area. The latter alternates with McMillian and Wife which I cannot watch (Susan Saint James's character gets on my nerves). The first three always seem to involve romancing with their professional duties.
