just one?

Hmmm.

I choose a few.

Michael Jackson. Madonna. Rolling Stones. Beatles.

David Beckham. I remember that they had a poster of him at a public place in China once and had to take it down because there were too many people distracted and caused accidents.

Even if we restrict the list to those who are alive, Beiber is still pretty far down the list.

And I bet that everyone knows Michael Jackson's moonwalk, too.

ETA - I would choose Madonna as the most famous female celeb (grudgingly).

Dead: Elvis

Partially alive: The Beetles

Fully alive: Well, I'm not sure who is at the top, but male: Sean Connery and female: Madonna puts them pretty high up there.

EDIT: The thing about Mr. Justin Bieber is that there are probably many who would not know him if they ran into him in an elevator.........and I'm one of those people. Quite frankly, it's "Who's he?". At best, it probably helps if one watches the circuits where such people exist.

Ie, way back in 2009 or so, we were doing a game in Improvisation called "Who Am I?". Two people play. One person knows who the victim "is" and reacts to them in way for the victim to figure out who they are by carefully listening. I was the knowing person and the audience suggested Dr. Phil until one of my classmates observed, "The problem is I don't think Tamara knows who Dr. Phil is.".........and he was right, I didn't.

Same thing with Mr. Bieber...........who is that?
