I think that Barbra was talented enough and well known enough to have made a big stink at the time if she had been sexually harassed and people would have listened to her. She was beautiful when she was young and very talented. Her nose made her unique and I respect her for not changing it to look like someone else's standard of beauty.
She seemed feisty enough to have kicked some ass if someone tried to hassle her and they probably knew better than to mess with her.
