Looks like a misspelled version of 'radix' which is the root number you work with in a logarithm.

Or it could be the misspelled Latin 'radix' for 'root'.

I don't know; I'm usually all for unique names but a name pronounced like 'rad-d*cks' just doesn't seem appealing to me.

Sounds almost like 'radish' as well.

Whatever makes people happy but I wouldn't name my kid that.

I instantly thought it sounded like Riddex, which is a pest repellant. Or Radish.

I like unusual names for kids. One of my sons has an unusual name. But make sure the name can't get turned into something objectionable so easily.
