What a life she led! Literally rags to riches and all due to her talent (along with the efforts of her husband).

Loretta was.. Just outside my wheelhouse.. I went to country music in the 80's.. I do remember some of her work with Dolly and Tammy Wynette in the 90's.

But.. She made it to 90.. And that's a bit surprising seeing how sick she has been in the past 20-30 years. A live well lived.

She was so gracious and she will be sorely missed. Rest, dear lady - we are so very lucky to have had you for so many years.

Just saw Sara Evans announce it on FB.

I would say "Bummer" but actually, living on and on may not be so great for "them". So, RIP and farewell!

My mother took me to see A Coal Miner's Daughter starring Sissy Spacek when it was released in 1980 ( I think). It is still one of my favorite movies and I know all of Lorette Lynn's songs. RIP

I grew up listening to Loretta Lynn's music, too. And I remember watching Coal Miner's Daughter with my mom, too.

She lived quite a life and has left an amazing a legacy. May she RIP.

What a way to go too, passed away at age 90 in her sleep.

Rest in peace, another great voice added to God's choir as someone pointed out in another thread a few months ago.
