Loretta was.. Just outside my wheelhouse.. I went to country music in the 80's.. I do remember some of her work with Dolly and Tammy Wynette in the 90's.
But.. She made it to 90.. And that's a bit surprising seeing how sick she has been in the past 20-30 years. A live well lived.
My mother took me to see A Coal Miner's Daughter starring Sissy Spacek when it was released in 1980 ( I think). It is still one of my favorite movies and I know all of Lorette Lynn's songs. RIP

I grew up listening to Loretta Lynn's music, too. And I remember watching Coal Miner's Daughter with my mom, too.
She lived quite a life and has left an amazing a legacy. May she RIP.
