She used to be my #2 favorite celebrity, but then she got nasty cellulite-filled thighs, and now she's gotten rid of that again, so she's a tough one for me. She's really good looking when she's at her best, so hot. But she shouldn't be letting herself go in her 20s, my god.
Yeah I watch a ton of TV shows, but on DVD, I'm not a typical couch potato in that sense. I'm pretty goal-oriented with my TV watching, haha, like I buy shows on DVD that I will have a high likelihood of watching, and I pull the trigger 95% of the time having not seen a single episode of that show, not even five minutes of most of them. I read the reviews, I look at the ratings, I read the premise and try to see if it's for me. I know if it's about a bunch of girls dealing with their relationships, I will hate it, I don't care how good the reviews are. I know if it's well reviewed, popular, and has plenty of action, I will almost certainly like it. I can see a few ads and know most of the time.
My predictive capabilities with TV aren't perfect, of course, I do my best. I bought the first season of The Shield, a friend loves it, it's been well reviewed, lasted a long time, every indication is that I would like that type of show. Saw two episodes, I hate the characters, I think they're douchebags, whether they're good or bad I don't care, I'm not interested what will happen to them, I don't care about seeing them do anything, therefore that was it for me. No need to keep watching. I don't see what's good about that show at all, but apparently it's popular.
Most of the time, though, I can tell right away -- I will give some shows a chance that aren't really "my type" of show, if I think there's a chance it really will be good, like I started watching Six Feet Under. The premise, to me, is pretty boring. It doesn't interest me. But I love Michael C. Hall from Dexter, one of my favorite shows, and I figure if it lasted that long, got that good of reviews, there is usually a reason for that. So I started watching and sure enough, despite a mediocre premise, it really is a good show! It's finely crafted and excellently written.
Some shows it's just obvious you will like them, takes nothing more than what the network used to buy the idea. Dexter is a prime example -- "A show about a serial killer who only kills serial killers and works for the police department as a forensic detective." I heard that and I was like oh my god, that's the greatest idea ever, why didn't I have that?!? I knew I'd like it just from that, provided it was well done, and since it's Showtime, of course it was well done.
I'm usually aware of TV shows to some extent that I don't watch, but it's so hard to keep up with it all. I believe I follow 20 TV shows almost, it's like 18 or 19 maybe, in the 2008-2009 season, for instance. Of those, maybe 2-3 will get canceled (I have a feeling Supernatural and Prison Break are soon to be axed), but there will inevitably be more added. I don't yet follow The Sarah Conor Chronicles, for instance, the Terminator TV show, but I own Season One and will watch it soon, and if I like it, there's another to the list. So every time a show gets axed there's another to fill its place, haha.
Vanessa Hudgens doesn't need another five years, she's hot as heck now. Mmmm...
Any list of brunettes without Alessandra Ambrosio is of course not complete as she's by far the hottest around. But I'll assume somehow she doesn't count because she's Brazilian and not white? Oh wait, no that makes no sense.
