Kid Rock can't use his USO tour to fulfill his 80 hours of community service.

Kid's statement on his website was very entertaining to read IMHO.

Kid Rock: Welcome

It's great he's doing the USO tour and raised $20,000 for the neighborhood shelter in Atlanta near the Waffle House where the fight occurred last year. Still, the community service is something he should have to do because it's a matter of principle.

Any guesses on what his service tasks will be?

Agreed.
heh
I still crack up that the brawl occurred at a Waffle House.
I don't hate Kid Rock's guts or anything, and he's done some fine things for the troops. But that mashup All Summer Long was highly derivative, and now here he is trying to tell the court what his community service is going to be.
C'mon, Kid, just take your punishment--and then try to stay out of fights.

That sounds like community service to me. Certainly it's better than raking leaves, or shoveling snow, or something like that, isn't it?

Perhaps the judge thinks Kid deserves a more *punitive* activity.
Maybe he just wants Kid to
'respect his authoritah.'
