Isn't she the one who starred in "Miracle On 34th Street" (among other numerous movies)? I always thought she was one of the most beautiful actresses of all time.

Yes, that is her. I think she was one of the great beauties too. She was in the original Parent Trap movie too.

Ms. O'Hara was wonderful in (The Parent Trap). It's amazing to look at the list of all the films that she has been involved with. The series of films with John Wayne is what Ms. O'Hara is best remembered by.

She has a great website: Maureen O'Hara Magazine

Anthony Quinn spoke highly of her in his autobiography. In fact, he claimed she was one of the greatest loves of his life. Since reading that I always wonder how they felt working together in "Only the Lonely" in their Golden Years.

She remained a lady even in hell hole Hollywood. She's singing with the angels tonight! RIP, dear talented lady!

I didn't realize that she played the mother in the original Parent Trap with Hayley Mills. She certainly had a long and successful career.
