R.I.P. Bea Arthur!!

I first fell in love with her acting abilities on Maude. That was a break-out comedy.
GG will always be what she's most remembered for.

RIP-B.A.

I used to watch Golden Girls as a kid, what a funny show. TV is so corny, no quality sitcoms anymore.

Well, she did live to a good age and had an admirable career. We should all be so lucky.

This blogger's obit does a good job of covering her life and has links to segments of some of Bea's notable tv episodes

A class act-today's so-called actresses could learn a lot from her and the Girls.

Blessings Bea.

Yes, we will miss Bea Arthur. What a powerful actress. I once brushed elbows with her on a street corner in Manhattan. She was the perfect lead for the Girls! RIP.

Back in the mid 1970s my grandmother took me to see Mame at Radio City Music Hall with Lucille Ball and there was Bea Arthur with all her splendor. Even thought I was in my early 20's I thought Golden Girls was incredible funny and she showed Americans life is still grand when you’re a senior. Rest in peace dear lady.

Just heard about her passing. RIP to a great lady.

True..she was well known and popular for her Golden Girls performance, but to me, she will always be affectionately remembered as "Maude".

We used to love the "golden girls" even though we were in our 20's and 30's when we watched it!
You'll be missed!
RIP Bea....
