I envision that the contract with the ad firm who developed him keeps getting more and more expensive because the Gecko is such a hit. The company keeps trying to introduce some new, gimmicky, mascot but it never floats.
The ad guys who created the Gecko need a good pat on the back. Endearing and trustworthy and yet attention grabbing. Cave men are NOT endearing and trustworthy.
I wonder whatever happened to the careless kid who did the 'Dell, dude' commercials and was doing very well 'till he was caught with drugs. Just pot, I think, but when you're making that much money you should know to be careful.
