No disrespect but I'm trying to figure out why ESPN would broadcast it....? Because MJ was such a huge sports figure? Perhaps I'm missing something.
Im pretty sure its not going to be televised on ESPN. I think its just that the ESPN Sports Zone will allow for fan spillover from both Staples and Nokia Theater for people to view the event. I guess I can understand since its not showing on the outside big screens. Kinda nice to see such a turnout for LA's most famous native son. They say millions across the globe signed up for tickets and that those who didnt get them will probably fly in from all corners of the globe to be here anyway.
That I would understand. ESPN broadcasting it didn't make any sense to me at all....
I guess I never considered MJ an LA "native son".....I would think Gary, Indiana would claim that.
He was born there but they all pretty much grew up here in Encino. Would always see his brothers around the the area ever since I was a little kid. So, they are pretty much locals.
It's probably a good thing you didn't win. Wrist bands are required with the tickets, both of which must be picked up in person. Before you can pick up the wrist band and ticket, you must show ID that matches the name on the ticket.
It's truly disgusting how people are trying to profit from this. I'm so disappointed.
You got me on that one...it's true...it's tough to pull a fast one over a C-D moderator. I did not even enter the lottery. But you're right...many people are still making money off this guy...even in death!
Doesn't it bother anyone that everybody's just trying to make a buck off Michael Jackson...even in death?
The money should go to all the boys he molested. They need to pay for shrink bills.
