To anyone that hasn't seen it, Chasing Sound is a wonderful celebration of his genius in movie form. His contribution to the world of music is immeasurable in its greatness!
I read about this sad news earlier this morning. My dad still has a classic Les Paul guitar that he has cherished for many years. Mr. Paul will indeed be missed.
I don't know a darn thing about guitars. But I think Mark Knoffler(dire straits) had a few Les Pauls. His music is incredible. His guitar playing is awesome. By the way Happy Birthday Mark!!!!
And my condolences to the Les Paul family and fans.
The last Les Paul guitar I had was 10 years ago, I bought it from a co-worker, but I only kept it for a couple of years. I did have another Les Paul up until the mid 1980's. This was in January of 1983.
How many here are old enough to remember when Les Paul and Mary Ford had a regularly scheduled TV show? I think it ran for 6 or 7 years, up until about 1960.
