I dont know a lot about the dj'ing world, but he seemed like a pretty neat guy.

Check out his interview in Glamour,

"I Put a Gun in My Mouth and Pulled the Trigger": Magazine: glamour.com

Rising up from the ranks in phili to be a top DJ. You have to respect that. He also had a big shoe collection...

YouTube - dj Am sneakers collection

Sad story though. A millionaire jet setting DJ doing what he loves. Then ends up like this.

His death was really sad. Skipping death is really scary and you never know when you'll go.

All his sneakers are on ebay for auction. They will donate the money to his funds. You'd better have your credit card ready- some of his sneakers are going for over 1K.

I believe they are putting up a few pairs a week if I remember correctly.

Also wanted to add how unfortunate his death is. I won't pass judgement on his drug use, I have never been in his shoes. Being successful and famous doesn't mean he was happy. Add to that fact that he was in an awful plane crash that may have did a number on him mentally and physically.

PTSD is serious business. The drugs may have been his way to cope. He also mentored others and did not glamourize his drug use. Maybe he was looking for a road away from drugs by helping others.

R.I.P Adam.

Yep it wasn't his time to go but then he chose to take his own life out due to drugs. That's the devil for you
