Pleasse.... leave the girl alone. At her heaviest she probably didn't weigh over like 140 or so? Please. Did you see the cartoon skit Fox put on about her. It was so mean. They had to issue an apology to her, mostly because Burger King made them, sorry don't have the link if anyone does please post it. But it's just so sad. She's not overweight. I know she's in the spotlight and all but c'mon now.
Well, she's apparently only 5'3" so 140lbs is pretty much overweight. It means her BMI is 24.8 and 25+ is considered overweight. Since BMI is a guideline, not an exact science, it's possible she is overweight.
I don't dislike the girl and I don't think there's anything "wrong" with her weight... but when a woman whose career was half based on being attractive gains that much weight, you have to expect jokes and criticism.
Her weight always goes up and down. I say don't be a star if you can't handle the heat, not that I think it's right, nor do I think she's fat, but if you choose to live your life in the limelight you better have a thick skin cuz everyone is gonna offer their opinion.
I'm so glad there are people out there who have nothing better to worry about in their lives than Jessica Simpson's weight!
Who cares...she's not my type but she still looks great. Besides, for all of those badgering her, I'd like to see what THEY look like. And the guys would still be turning their heads and gawking if she walked by.

Knee jerk reaction. We don't base half our career on being attractive so it doesn't really matter what we look like.
But if you reeeeeally want to see what I look like, this is one of the most recent pictures of me: Photoshop.com
I'm in the blue dress. Judge away, I don't care.

I'd say you look pretty damn good. I don't know which one of the guys in the pic you're with, but I'd say that you're doing him a favor.

Compared to how she used to look the weight she has put on now is really really obvious.... I do feel sorry for her though because she is being harassed over it and obviously very much humiliated but she did look much better without the excess weight.

and they wonder why women have disorders like anorexia and bulimia
Jessica Simpson is a celebrity because of the way she looked not because she was a good singer or actress. Maybe its partly because she is so stupid, which is the reason i use to watch her tv show with nick.
