The cell phone I haven't used is US Cellular. If you have a Sprint or VZN CMDA phone they roam on both towers and have awesome coverage in rural areas. Sprint is moving to LTE and Paypal. I don't know if they are no longer accepting checks, pay by phone, credit cards or all of it. The local indy VZN/Sprint store dropped Sprint. There is still a Verizon owned store in town.

I have more VZN friends than Sprint where I live in rural America. It was an easy decision. The VZN website is easier to use than Sprint website. .I want easy access so my decision to switch is based on many factors.

What do you mean by they are going to PayPal? Do you mean for NFC?

Sprint calls to any mobile carrier are unlimited and free (don't count towards your minutes). This includes Verizon.

I have been with Verizon for like 9 years. I have spent $150. month or more. Today yet another one of their crappy motorola phones couldnt make it for the 2 year duration. I went to T-Mobile to learn they have a promotion for unlimited talk, text and internet for $80. The 4G Galaxy S smartphone was $250.

So for the same price to upgrade at Verizon I got as new a phone and cut my phone bill nearly in half.

Sprint was the worse customer service with Verizon coming in a close second.

I'd recommend T-Mobile over either Verizon or Sprint.

That's odd that Sprint's customer service is bad again. They were just rated as the most improved customer service, and actually came in on top last year (Late 2010) according to JD Edwards.

I guess they got bad again in the last few months? I have Sprint and have had no trouble with them.

Hesse's vow to improve Sprint's customer service was shortlived, I guess.

I think AT&T is last in the customer service dept.

I haven't looked it up, but according to AONE, Sprint is worst. Someone's not doing their research here (other than me)
