2. OF COURSE that's what it means, but any reputable company is not data mining you without your knowledge, downloading your contacts, taking pictures of you.
This reminds me of the Facebook Messenger fiasco. Everyone, even supposed TECH EXPERTS, warning the world not to download it because the app has access to your MICROPHONE and CAMERA and Facebook is going to record your conversations ANY TIME IT WANTS and take pictures of you SLEEPING.
Pure hysteria.
The best part, imo.... no one ever mentioned that the Facebook app everyone is already using.... has 95% of the same permissions...
My point, my very valid Bottom Line above: many many many, nay MOST times when you download things from TRUSTED AND WELL KNOWN DEVELOPERS... the permissions attached are valid and not nefarious.
