Which cell phone carrier/plan you are using? For how long and why you like it.

It all depends on how much a person uses a phone, my wife has T-Mobile $100 a year for 1000 minutes and it cost 10 cents per text, she texts a lot but rarely makes calls. I have AT&T $100 for a year for 1000 minutes but text cost double yet I feel it is better to have two different carriers since some different areas are better covered by each of them. Both seem to do the job but it seems to me that T-Mobile has better coverage in the areas we travel and neither one of us uses a cell phone that much that we need a monthly plan.

I just switched back to AT&T from Verizon. I switched to Verizon about four months ago for the improved coverage. And yes the coverage was better (AT&T had good coverage in our area). But for some reason the call quality at my home and place of employment was just OK or worse. People were saying they heard blips and the occasional breaking-up at my home and work. Never had that problem with AT&T. Unacceptable!

I also found that overall AT&T has better data quality in my area. Verizon might have the best LTE coverage overall, but their 3g totally sucks. usually under .5meg. With AT&T their 3g is useable at over 1meg and their plain old 4g runs at about 3-5 megs.

Anyway, I really wanted Verizon to work for me-but not in my area. We are running a two line plan with 3gigs of data.
