I am on my second 6 that has bent and now a cracked screen. I have to bend it to get the cell signal to kick back in sometimes but I am holding back because I have no interest in the 8. It looks like my 6, has a few additional features but is not what I wanted at all. I was hoping the 8 would be all screen, thankfully they released the 10 and made the 8 obsolete 15 minutes after it was released. I'll be on the pre-order for a 10 just deciding if I want 64 or 256.
The 8 would be a good jump for my wife as she needs more space than her 16GB 6S.

Why an all screen phone appeals to anyone is beyond me, quite frankly. The X is stupid is my opinion and frankly this "bezel less craze" that is all the rage today is boring the crap out of me.
Well... have fun with your $1,000 phone that constantly launches programs you didn't mean to because your phone is ALL SCREEN.
I had a 6 Plus since 2014 when it came out. I traded it for the Galaxy Note 8 when the Note came out, but screwed with the Note for a week, could not get it working with my car stereo, and returned it, paying the $35 restock fee to get an 8 Plus.
The 6 Plus would repeatedly crash while playing Pokemon Go. It would crash every 15 minutes, tops, sometimes within five. Frame rate would frequently drop. The frame rate is much better and I haven't had a single Pokemon crash since going to the 8. System performance all around is just so much better - the 6 didn't necessarily feel sluggish, but side by side with the 8, there is no comparison.
The cameras on both the Note 8 and 8+ are far, far better than on the 6. It was worth the purchase from that alone.
