Does Samsung Galaxy S5 support AES encryption? I am googling but haven't found the answer yet. It runs my audio system for Pandora and NPR.

If it doesn't support newer encryption any suggestions for replacement? Maybe a cheap Android phone perhaps?

Why do you feel you need that feature? Do you know what version of Android is on it?

/edit/ Just saw your other post. Yes the S5 supports WPA2 which is all you need. You are over thinking a device that you are only using for music and NPR. Stream in peace, friend.

More better security. Will check Android version later but it's probably 7 or 8? I did try to upgrade but it said none available.

Edit. I was pretty sure it supports WPA2. Not sure about AES. Thanks for the reply.

WPA2 supports CCMP which is based on AES.
Point stands: this phone is ONLY doing those 2 things? You don't need encryption at all, my friend. No one is going to hack your wifi to get to your phone to get to your... Pandora playlist.

Turning encryption off seems like a really bad idea.

I don't think Pergrine is suggesting turning off encryption. Instead your usage doesn't make you more vulnerable and no additional precautions/applications to secure your connection are needed.

We get a low security warning on an older iPhone when using WPA2 TKIP. So wondering if AES is the answer.

No, not suggesting turning anything off. Saying that a standard WPA2 (which is AES encrypted) wifi connection is secure enough for your needs.
