Dropped my iPhone 13 phone (rant, screen, protector, price)

I thought it was a small crack now I am noticing the whole screen cracked. Only had it for less than 2 weeks. Should I just buy another one when I can’t fully see the screen?
First time owning an iPhone.

Did you buy the Apple warranty? Either way you can get it fixed at the Apple Store.

Get a Otterbox case and your screen won’t crack if you drop it.

Otterbox does not have a screen protector anymore.

Are you certain about that? They have had more than one model of case for quite some time. Higher the price, the more protection.

A screen proector does help...My wifes iPhone has one, she dropped it, the screen looked cracked. Turned out just the protector cracked....$20 for replacement. She also has an Otterbox on it.

I have the Otterbox that had the screen protector. I took that part off as it was plastic and touchpad wouldn't work real well. My phone is about 5 years old now, the Otterbox is beat to heck, but phone still looks new.
