My cell says restricted when there is no # (blocked) and I tell all my friends and contacts to be sure to program their phone to unlock the phone # when calling, *82 before my number, because all restricted #'s are put on silent and never get answered by a human. Another thing I found by accident gets rid of the machines that dial #'s is my ringback. I started putting comedians telling jokes instead of songs and when the autodialer hears the comedians voice it thinks it's a voicemail and hangs up, sometimes before my phone even rings so all I see is missed call. Usually after 3 calls your # is bumped from the list and it stops.

Thank you, this is good to know.

I remember that *82 was used for unblocking on land lines,or portable phones, even out in CA.
