We are trying to find a decent roof repairer ourselves, contacted a few so far, only one has bothered to turn up.

As for the HVAC, try Climate Makers, John Sison 843 552 9024 service@climatemakers.biz

My remmondation is based on one of their younger guys who attended when our air con unit went out. Could not fault him on the service he gave. This was done via our AHS warranty so can't say whether it was cheap or not, although I would expect them to be reasonable.

I highly recommend Black's Heating & Air. We've used him several times and have found him to be super-reliable. He works nights and weekends and seems honest, reasonably priced, and very knowledgeable. For roof work, I recommend Paul Bracci. Both are in the phone book, but I can provide numbers if you need them.
