Hey all - just thought I would put out a query to you. Photography is my hobby and I usually order from B&H but I wanted to pick up some filters before my vacation next week. I've used RitzCamera some but their selection is not that great in store. Are there any other photography supply stores in the Charleston area that I have overlooked? I'm a Nikon user if that helps.
Im also a photographer South bel. I dont know of any where in the Charleston area to get what you need.
I get my equipment from B&H too. I would check with them.
Ritz is very limited on there selection and is a little high. I dont even bother going by there, because most of the time they dont have what I need Good luck.

Thanks - that's what I thought. Last time I went in there looking for a pretty standard UV filter and a new 50mm lens. Didn't have either. Just ended up ordering them from B&H (well hubby did for my birthday!). They're pretty quick. I might get them in time for my vacation.
Just a thought, perhaps you could arrange to get what you need at your destination.
It's one of those Griswold type road trips cross country, so that would not work. It's not an end of the world thing but since I know I'll be shooting quite a bit of landscapes, I wanted some new filters for some of my lenses.
Yes, but I've been obsessed with getting great SOOC shots lately. The most I've been using PS for is slight contrast bump and maybe a crop. If I can't get them in time, this will be the likely result although I need a CP for my new lens and PS really doesn't do a good job of replicating the CP filter.
Thats pretty good,,,,How long have you been at it?
