Has anyone moved to Charleston then moved away...only to move back years later because they missed it so much?

I am not from Charleston but lived in there for 7rys (97-04) and have been gone for 6yrs (lived in other cities by choice and for work reasons)

I sometimes regret ever moving away and think about moving back often. There's just something about this great city that brings a smile to my face everytime I think about it.

Anyone else move back to the area after years of being gone because they missed it? and did you like it more or less?

Thoughts?

I don't think I want to live anywhere else but Charleston. Come on back it is getting even better.

If you haven't been there since the fire you will be surprised at the rebuild...

Yes it was a unique place. It would be hard to reproduce what was there. I haven't been since the fire myself.

It is still unique, just not like it was, they had to modernize some due to changes in the laws...
