Maybe the locals coupon for a lot of the attractions in the area that they run in January, but probably not a lot out there otherwise.

Adults are $18? I wonder what they charge ghosts? Just show up with a sheet over your head, you might get on for free. Just make sure the sheet does not have a pointy tip on top.

Do you guys, think it should be free? Think it is chump change to maintain that facility? $18 is more than fair to have the see, touch and feel experience of several crafts.

I totally agree ^ ^ ^.

As I've learned from my husband who was in the Navy for 24 years and works with Navy ships now......the cost of maintaining that is HUGE and will continue to increase as the years go on and the ship gets older. That's why it's not a freebie.

I don't think it should be free but $18 per person is pretty expensive, in my book. I think they'd attract more people of it was more reasonable. It would cost $76 for my family.

I got Aquarium passes for my entire family $125 a year and we'll go about 6 times. It ends up being $4 a pop....so much more affordable for us.

It just cost Patriots Point $9Million dollars to fix the smaller ship. Immagine what it is going to cost to fix the big one when it is needed...

Do you realize that the aquarium has corporate sponsors, where PP does not? That is a huge factor is admission costs.

Lowering the admission is not what would bring more visitors, a better economy with jobs would but that is another topic for another day.

There are 1/2 off coupons in the entertainment coupon book. I actually bought a groupon earlier this year for Patriot's Point that was $18 for 2 people. Groupon is great. I have bought a boat tour for 2 for $17, a ghost tour for 2 for $12, and a walking tour for 2 for $15.
