is Boeing supposed to be expanding their footprint already? I haven't heard that yet although I would expect it as they've tied up additional acreage at the airport site and it would make sense for them to do so.

There's been a Harris Teeter sign at the intersection of River Rd and Maybank Hwy for about 6-7 years and was pretty old and faded ...

nope, it's FURTHER away from SVille... on Johns Island...

I don't care for HT anyway, they are higer priced with no advantage IMHO

my sister worked at the very first one here in the lowcountry roughly 25 yrs ago on hwy61 near hwy7... they were high back then too

Publix is much better IMHO anyway

Winn Dixie used to have the best meats, I think BiLo does now

Food Lion, wouldn't step foot in one after the 60 minute special on them awhile back

we do have a new meat market on central in SVille now that I haven't tried yet

I pretty well agree on all points.

I, unfortunately, am too conveniently situated next to the foodlion I frequent .. but at least half the time I'll drive out of my way to the Publix.

And it was a sad day when they closed the Bi-Lo over here. I knew the butchers there on a first name basis and they always took care of me.
