We loaded ourselves... they drove... we unloaded.
4 bedroom house with full basement and garage as well........... ABF price was maybe $1100.
Gas and tolls came to how much I forgot.. but BOY did it pay.
Not for everyone though..........
One note PODS is the most expensive company for that type of service (ABF offers it as well)... they get their business because it became a household name.. as did Kleenex.
Price them and find out............ way outta the ballpark

Any advice on moving 2 cats cross-country? I worry about them as they do get carsick.

What did you ultimately do with the cats? We are moving at the beginning of Feb. from San Diego and have decided to fly to Atlanta (4.5 hours or so) with cats in the cabin and then drive the 5 hours to Charleston. THey don't mind the car but I didn't want to deal with the big layover time .
