Hello, I am new to the area and want to start looking at Summer Camps for my kids - ages 9 and 12. We will be living in the Mount Pleasant area. Does anyone if Charleston printes a camp directory?

I think Lowcountry Parent magazine always printed one every year and my daughter brought it home from school. Also check with Mt Pleasant Rec Dept. They have quite a few summer camps.

I 2nd both.

Lowcountry has a full listing of camps.

Mt Pleasant Rec Center is GREAT !!!!!!!!!

Last summer I pulled my lil one out of daycare and enrolled him in the MP Rec Ctr camps for 6-7 weeks.
It was only 9-12 (as opposed to his 8-4 daycare..but I 'took' the summer off). Each week was at a different location, PW Rec Ctr, RL Jones in Belle Hall, Old Darby Bldg in the Old Village. They rotated and also each week was a different classes, themes, teachers and children.
It was a GREAT experience for him at 3 yrs of age.
At your kids age......... they have, they offer so much... and all at a great price.
