The past few weeks have been a rather remarkable period of controversial decision-making, what with the Supreme Court rulings on DOMA and the Voting Rights Act, not to mention the much-watched case of Koontz v. St. Johns River Water Management District. In the spirit of landmark decisions, I figured that it was finally time to resolve once and for all the issue of the Wreck.
Thank you for this review posting! I have been very deeply disappointed with the recent Supreme Court rulings, so I enjoy reading reviews like this about the ol' hidden wreck. I have gone to the wreck 10 years ago, and really like the seafood there, although almost all fried (health), it is cool place for Seafood.
The reviewer was right, sometimes you go and the experience and food are worth the effort. The next time, meh, not so much. I like dives, so the wreck and Bowens are always in consideration.
Spring and Fall is the time to go to The Wreck. The food is fantastic then but not so great during the summer when nothing tastes very good in the oppressive heat of Charleston. Just saying!
Funny I had someone tell me recently this was THE BEST. Have to try it for myself I guess!
