Real Estate decision -- now that's interesting...does that mean they might consider opening up somewhere else? Hmmm.....

Let's consider which restaurant would be big enough to pay enough to bump out Queen Anne's Revenge....Ruth Chris? not a great location for it BUT.....(yes i'm just playing.)

Not surprised. They closed The Buccaneer in 2010 due to costs. I don't know how they could keep up with being on DI.

In the article they suggest it wasn't because the restaurant was doing poorly, but that there was 'an offer they couldn't refuse'.

Queen Anne's Revenge was always more successful than The Bucanner. The Bucanner lacked any 'store front'....so it lost out to all the other restaurants right on East Bay Street. There has been at least one other restaurant in that location that failed. Location, location, location.

Ahhh. I didn't read the article haha. BUT I would think real estate had to play some role in the decision.

Procrastination is such a drag.

I've always had SOME reason I couldn't go to Queen Anne's Revenge ... now I guess I've waited too long to visit it.

And from everything I've heard it is 1000000% MY loss.

<sigh>
