Hello! Most of what I have read so far only makes me feel more compelled to work toward my goal to move to Charleston. I may have more specific questions about my move as it becomes more of a reality.

I have lived in the Central Florida area since I was a kid. I need a major change in my life and want to start fresh! I may have high expectations but I am hoping for an improvement in the job market, housing market, singles market (haha), and the cultural scene. I feel I have seen everything there is to see here, which is not much in my opinion.

Right now I am working 2 jobs, one as a realtor and the other for Disney. I have never done a major relocation and know the job search may be tricky. If anyone has any advice as far as a good real estate office to hang my license (once I get a SC license of course) or advice on the job hunt/house hunt please let me know. I am looking to rent a single family home and looking for a full time job until I get my real estate license. (I am also pursuing a bachelor's degree in health services management to eventually work my way into a non-sales career)

I am planning a short trip there in October to scope it out. I would love to have some specifics to check out while I am there.

Looking forward to any info you have to offer! Thanks so much!

You could use Zillow and Houzz to find realtors, then dig a little deeper to find what offices they're out of. Not the most direct approach, but just a. Idea.

Default How was your trip?

Did you make the trip? If so, how did it go??? Charleston is an awesome place to live and I am sure you will find it way more enjoyable than Florida! Let me know if you have any questions...
