Haddock - loved the beer Battered.
You're going to mostly find cod or flounder around here, which isn't bad, but if you have that taste for haddock, Coleman Public House is your destination. And their fries are awesome.

If you like fried clams...you may like fried oysters. Shrimp and crab is easy to get around here but not lobster, clams , or clam chowder. I actually buy my steamers from a local seafood place (sellsfish) and cook it myself....same with lobster. The Coast Bar and Grill has very good seafood..crab stuffed fish and crab dip were delish. If I'm looking for fried oysters, I like Gilligans. I've tried fried oysters other places and I have been most pleased with Gilligans and sometimes the Crab Shack.

try The Wreck
The Wreck of the Richard & Charlene Home

It's on Shem Creek. It's about as no frills as it gets; although, it's not exactly cheap.
Yup ... forgot about that one ..good catch ...but I also forgot Hank's ...( not Hymans.. tourist trap )... granddaddy of them all

The Ordinary is not a down to earth kind of fish place. Great shelffish, cocktails but upscale, hipster like. I love it but it is not a 'no bells and whistles' kind of place.

Lets not ignore the fact that places that feature locally sourced foodstuffs will also have a lot of seafood on their menus ...more than youll find normally find elsewhere....

NB ..." friends don't let friends eat imported shrimp"
