Hi. Is there enough to do for a couple of guys downtown for a long weekend? We're looking for golf during the day and bars at night, and from what I can tell there isn't a whole lot of golf close to downtown. Good food is key, and I think we'll get that downtown.

Oh the other thing we might want to do is get on a fishing boat. Thanks for any input!

here's what ya do.

Stay downtown at Zero George or the like.
Great food, great area, convenient to bars, and all the usual downtown night scene stuff.
Get up early and take the water taxi over to Patriots Point. 5 mins at the most.
Hit the links on the public course for a few hours. It's a decent course and it's reasonably priced.
Grab lunch at the club.
Uber over to shem creek and pick up a day sail. Or go kayaking or paddleboarding.
Water taxi back to downtown in time for cocktails at the Vendue Inn rooftop bar. Sun sets at 8ish.
Rinse, Wash, Repeat.
Or instead of golf, catch a ride out to Folly and go surfing. It's a 40 min trip in good traffic.

If y'all are under the age of 30 hit up upper King Street. Find Marion Square/Francis Marion hotel and start walking a few blocks north and you'll start to hit the strip of bars.

Great plan Shem ... only thing Id add is a trip to Upper King for bar hopping/dinner ...and Id add the new Renaissance hotel and its bar at the Barony... and a nice central location....

Vendue rooftop at sunset is a great suggestion. Even after sunset it's great.
