I am looking at condos for sale on James Island that are under $100k. Pointe James and Rivers Point Rd both off of Camp Rd. Does anyone have information on these as far as safety or any other problems? I will commute to downtown Charleston. Meeting St.
I believe Point James was involved in a big lawsuit with the upshot being a large special assessment to all the condo owners. As a result the regime fees were very high though for how long, I'm not sure. Recent listings show Regime fees listed as anywhere from ~$400 to $675 per month. At some point the assessment should be paid off and the regime fees might go back to something "normal" but I haven't looked into when that would be or what normal is.
