Hi all. I hope everyone remained safe throughout the hurricane. I started at MUSC last week and have to work tomorrow at 6:3" am. I have been parking at the Hagood lot for the two days I worked last week (until I evacuated) I am not too familiar with Charleston when flooding occurs (I just moved here 2 weeks ago). I have not heard anything from hospital regarding parking after flooding. Does anyone know if the Hagood lot (Stadium) will be open tomorrow.? Thanks in advance.

Do you work for the University or the Hospital?

Quote:
University Employees: Only designated University personnel should be on campus at this time. All non-designated personnel may return to work as soon as Tuesday, Oct. 11. Please monitor email, the MUSC information line (792-MUSC), clicking on the red ticker on the MUSC home page (www.musc.edu), and utilizing the MUSC Alert Emergency Notification System (to register, go to: www.musc.edu/muscalert) for upcoming information around resuming normal operations.

At this time, building access to University and campus facilities is limited to designated employees only. Any designated employees on campus who encounter facilities issues can dial 843-792-5600 for assistance.
MUHA:

Parking:
  • All parking garages will be open for care team members to park Sunday and Monday. Please do not park in Ashley Rutledge patient garage on Monday as this will be reserved for patients.
  • If the garage gate is down, press the intercom and identify yourself as a care team member to be let in.
  • Campus shuttles will not be running from Hagood or Harborview Office Tower to campus on Monday. Care team members who normally park in off-campus locations are encouraged to park in the Bee Street garage. if you cannot find parking in garages, a limited capacity Meducare van will run to campus from Hagood and Harborview Office Tower on Monday, but we strongly encourage care team members to take advantage of available garage parking within walking distance to campus.
  • Parking garages will return to normal operations on Monday at 7:00 p.m.

Thanks so much for the response. I work in the operating room (MUHA). I will park in the garage then. Once again, thanks. Where did you get this info from?

This and also if you just started it is a possibility that you have not been added to the email yet. Musc is kind of slow with that
