So I moved here about 3 weeks ago and you'll have to forgive me because I tried to do a search could not come up with any viable topic.

I just moved from Ohio with a CCW license and I need to transfer it to South Carolina so am I assuming that I'm going to have to take the course and start all over?

Thank you in advance and forgive me for not being able to find this topic that may already exist.

South Carolina does not allow you to transfer another state’s concealed carry permit or license to South Carolina. You must apply for a new South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit.

A good place to start would be one of the local gun ranges. They would know the particulars and I know ATP does the classes.

Depending on where Crash is from, I've met a lot of people from southern Ohio and Indiana that sound very Southern.
