We're looking to renovate the master bath -- no change in footprint, but everything will go. Anyone have a positive experience doing so with a company for a home in 29646?
Mt P company called Bathrooms Plus was recommended but they only work with cultured marble, acrylic & tile. That's not going to cut it. We've been told our budget is meager for anything else, but $20K is the LIMIT.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

You mention staying in the same footprint- are you keeping all fixtures in the same location or relocating them in the same room. The more change the more $.

Also, what is the size of the bath?

I've seen some nice looking bathrooms in those materials but you need to be careful with choices. The cultured marble in particular can shout at you in an off finish. But if truth be told white culture marble for countertop (built in sink) and an acrylic shower would not bother me after having tile in my last 4 showers. Some scrubbing bubbles and a Magic eraser beat the heck out of grout duty. I'm a guy who is not horribly picky so I can only imagine how insane it drives women with higher domestic standards.

My half sister has cultured marble sink/counter on a long vanity in one of her baths with a nicer tile backsplash above and it looks really sharp. The culture marble matches on of the stones in the back splash (kind of a pearl look?) It looks much nicer than what one would imagine. So you might want to look at some of their work/samples before dismissing the idea.

Bath measures 10 x 11. There are 2 closets with doors on right angle to each other that take up about 20 square feet. We're replacing all fixtures but leaving them in their current locations in the room: 2 vanities, shower stall, jetted tub (no need for jets in new one), toilet. So plumbing need not be rearranged. Need to remove 10+ feet of mirror that is the entire back wall, over vanities & tub.

Thanks, mrpeatie, for the cultured marbled assessment. Can't imagine it myself. Will look. We are considering solid surface in shower though, not tiles, since we agree on grout being a hassle.

Contractors anyone?
