I can understand the usefulness of the information you are seeking. I am unaware of a listing site in the Charleston area that would provide you with such information as listing prices/history change on a continuing basis and the only way that such information would be available would be if our local mls board provided that information in an internet "feed" which to my knowledge they do not do. Statistical information, including price history on individual listing, are available to members of the local Charleston Trident Association Of Realtors for help in providing negotiation assistance to clients. However, such information is pulled from the system on an individual property listing(s).I and possibly other Realtors in the area do put statistical information such as average days on market, percentage of sales price to list price and other informative sales price information on their web site. However, because it is a time consuming process, I would suspect that few Realtor web sites will have such information. I would recommend to you or anyone else having an interest in such statistics to whom such information would be helpful in order to make a relocation decision or to narrow down potential subdivisions in which to buy, that they establish a relationship with a local Realtor to provide them with such information on an individual basis.

Thanks USCJoe,
I do have an great agent in Mount Pleasant, I just like to do my own research as well. For the west coast market there is a discount broker called Redfin that spills the beans on every listing showing how many days on the market and every price drop with the date of the drop. There also show previous sales, but that is pretty common on many websites so the price drops and dates was what I was interested in for the Mount Pleasant Market.
Thanks for you input, If anyone else knows of a site that lists price drops please post a link.
MLS.SC is not to my knowledge in any way affiliated with the Charleston area MLS Service. Tax information can be found at Charleston County, South Carolina. and does have information on assessed property values. Keep in mind that from my experience these assessed values are only a start in determining the fair market value and what a home will sell for in today's real estate market. Some are over inflated but most undervalued from my experience even in a down market.
Emilybh - can you also send me the real estate websites you sent directly to condor11. We're from California and are looking into moving and buying a home. Thanks.
If you are affiliated with a REALTOR and member of the Charleston Trident MLS, they can set you up to receive automated e-mails of homes matching your search criteria. If a home listed for sale has a price change or a new photo added, you'll receive an e-mail the next day. So if you have your eye on a particular home, you can receive almost real time information if there is a price change.
look no further than www.zillow.com a great RE resource!
