Anyone have input on Melrose?? (real estate, insurance, house)

Combing the online real estate updates brought me to a house in the Melrose subdivision in West Ashley. Any pro or cons on this one?

Melrose is a pretty nice neighborhood. It is near some areas that aren't as nice, but I would have no problem living in that neighborhood. It's a little far from town, but very near shopping, easy access to interstate etc.

ditto above. Also some homes require flood insurance. But most areas do here.

I lived there on Catawbaw Rd 35 yrs ago, it was a very nice neighborhood back then... still is pretty decent from what I can tell when I drive through there occassionally

my sister lives in the neighborhood across the street, excellent area and central too all the lowcountry
