Can anyone suggest a master planned community that is a couple of years old? I would like to see a ampitheatre, pools, trails/nature, water of some sort and great schools... thank you..

I'on has all you asked except shopping is right across from the neighborhood. Then I'd check out Park West- I would of put park west first but we don't have an ampitheatre but everything else right here. in the neighborhood.

I would agree with beachme. The only other one that jumps to mind is The Ponds at Summerville. Although you will have to make your own mind up about the schools.

Also Longpoint Community might be of interest.

I liked the Ponds but the neighborhood is not close to being finished so all the amenities are there yet. Love the Y though!

The Ponds is a great community in the making. Also Dorchester County schools are reputed to be one of the best in the State. South Carolina Homes & Carolina Communities - The Reserve at Lake Keowee. They have links to the schools on their site.
